7 Days Serengeti Calving Season Migration Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival in Arusha, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. You’ll be escorted to your accommodation for an overnight stay, where you can relax and prepare for your safari adventure dinner and overnight at the Gran Melia Arusha Hotel.

Day 2: Arusha to Central Serengeti
Flight from Arusha to Serengeti (Central) After breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to the Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and begin your exploration of the Serengeti’s central region. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, immersing yourself in the stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Overnight at Ang’ata Tented Lodge central

Day 3-4: Central Serengeti to Ndutu Area
Today, you’ll set off early for the best time to witness the Serengeti calving season migration, from January to March. During this period, the southern Serengeti and Ndutu regions become the prime spots for observing the birth of thousands of wildebeest calves. The lush green plains provide an ideal environment for calving, attracting predators and offering a unique wildlife spectacle. Dinner and overnight at Ang’ata Tented Lodge.

Day 5: Ndutu Area to Ngorongoro

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Arusha
